Finally Getting Started

I'm a little lost as to what you post as your first post. I keep thinking it should be intriguing, funny, entertaining... then because I can't think of anything that fits in all these categories, my head starts to hurt and I turn the computer off.

I actually set this page up two years ago. I wrote my profile, which now reviewing is "ok" I guess. I then became overwhelmed after writing it and turned the computer off. I've come back to visit my sad little blog numerous times, just to be overwhelmed again by the sure blankness of the page, and you guessed it, I jumped up and shut the computer off. I'm not sure why today is the day that I didn't run away, but here I sit, finally getting started.

I'm sure I'll fail miserably at this blogging thing, never updating frequently enough, not describing what I'm thinking to my satisfaction, but then those reading it (which I imagine will just be close family and friends) are here to see pictures of the kids anyway, right? I don't want to disappoint, so onward to the pictures. Which is really why I started the blog journey anyway... to chronicle the antics of these two little desert rats. Throwing in my thoughts so I can look back several months, maybe even years later and relive the moment. Hopefully, it will be reader worthy and if not visually stimulating!
